Dr.Ye has more than 20 years experience in the fields of radio-frequency identification (RFID), radio communications, LSI and embedded system design. He served in Impinj, Inc. from 2003 to 2007 in the United States and was involved in developing the world’s first UHF RFID chip Monza 3 under EPC GEN2 protocol. He is one of the members of setting the international standard for EPC GEN2. Dr.Ye worked as Technical Director of Logistics and Supply Chain Research and Development Centre of Hong Kong Government. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
Pui Yi Lau (Anna)
Dr. Lau is a radio-frequency identification (RFID) and antenna expert. She is a senior IEEE member and currently serves as chairman of IEEE Council on RFID Singapore Chapter. Dr. Lau joined the RFID team in Wireless communication laboratory (currently named State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves) from 2005 as Engineer and then as Research fellow from City University of Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor, Mphil and PhD from Electronic and Engineering Department, City University of Hong Kong. In 2010, she joined I2R, A*STAR as Scientist in Singapore. She joined Invengo Technology as technical director in 2014. She is now with Laxcen Technology as Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Lau was the recipient of 3 Best paper awards from International conferences, the co-author of the RFID chapter in The Industrial Electronic Handbook (2nd Edition) and published many papers and patents in the related field.
Mr. Si is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Laxcen Technology. He is responsible for operational execution across the company. Mr. Si focuses on IC packaging and RFID industrial applications. He has extensive experience in RFID products and process management solutions. Prior to joining Laxcen, he was General Manager and Member of the Management Board of Junmp Technology. He holds a Master degree in Software Engineering from Zhejiang University, and now he is a candidate of Doctorate in Engineering Management of City University of Hong Kong.
Feng Lu has more than 10 years’ experience in the fields of radio-frequency identification (RFID), RF circuit design, antenna design and embedded system development. From 2006 to 2008, he was with Key Laboratory of Integrated Micro-system of Peking University, and was involved in development of RFID reader and design of RF/analog integrated circuit for RFID. In 2008, he joined Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) R&D Centre of Hong Kong Government, where he participated in many ITF projects involving R&D of RFID reader, RFID tag, and RFID solution. Prior to joining Laxcen Technology in 2017, he worked as Senior Manager of R&D Department in LSCM. He received his Bachelor and Master degree in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics from Peking University.
Prof. Yuen holds the position of Professor Emeritus at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He was Professor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and had held a number of administration positons at HKUST including Acting Vice-President (R&D), President and CEO of HKUST R&D Corporation, Head of Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Associate Dean of School of Engineering, Founding Director of EPACK Laboratory and Associate Director of RFID Center. He holds 10 US patents and 4 Chinese patents. Prof. Yuen also serves as the Chairman of Board of Examiners, the Hong Kong Management Association Quality Award. Prof. Yuen received his PhD from University of Bristol and B.Sc. (Eng.) from University of Hong Kong.
